Water Safety Tips

  • Go together. Never swim alone.
  • Assess dangers before entering the water.
  • Never put yourself in danger by trying to save others.
  • Always obey the safety rules.
  • Attend a Swim Class to improve your water safety skills.
  • Swim when your body is in the best conditions (not full of food, unwell or tired)
  • Respect other swimmers
  • In an emergency SHOUT for help
